My day out to Beverley

So, I went to Beverley last week on the 15th June. I went there because I just had this thought about Beverley and how i'd not been there for a very long time. I also think I went because I wanted to get away from Hull for just one day and I loved it! It was one of the best days out i've had in a while. Beverley is just a small town about 20 minutes out of Hull, I just took the train at paid my the fair which was a very cheap £5.50! I got off the train and started walking. I ended up at the town centre. So walked around here and went in a few of the art shops even though I had no where near enough money to buy anything from them! That's one of the things that I liked about Beverley that day, the art shops. There was quite a few of them about, small art shops.

After walking looking in the art shops I moved onto this church and behind the church was a sort of memorial garden for the soliders who died in one of the World Wars. I walked around the garden for a while, taking pictures of the memorials. The second thing I liked about Beverley were the charity shops there. I went in three of them and bought Frankie Boyle's book, a small statue thing we had in our house about 10 years ago, 2 cups and a calendar for my bedroom.

One place I do remember going to is Beverley Minster. It's the biggest of the churches in Beverley and I spent about 20+ minutes in here looking around at all the things, I took a few pictures and then decided it was time to find the train station and go home. I had a bit of trouble finding the train station again so this really kind old man who lived in Hull a while ago told me how to get there, he was even going to walk with me to the station and said to me "come back to my house if you get lost!" so I thought that was really kind, but I found the station OK.

So in the end I found out that I love Beverley and it's on my list of brilliant places in Yorkshire!

I love Beverley.
